According to posts over on The Fans Forum (by charlotte, Annne, and remyw18), Franz Ferdinand may announce new European tour dates this week
It’s unclear if there are more dates to be added to this list, but it sounds like the concerts might be going on pre-sale for the fanclub tomorrow (10th Dec), and general sale on Friday morning (12th Dec 2008)

Last month Franz Ferdinand and BeatPort.com offered fans the chance to remix the new Franz single Ulysses, with the incentive that the best mix would be used on the official release.
You were able to download the various parts, instruments and samples that make up Ulysses (eg. drums, bass, blip, clav, synth, vox, guys vox, dt vox + M8 dt vox, fx, m8 events, celeste) and create your own masterpiece.

The deadline for entries has now passed, but there are still a few days left for you to vote on which remix you like the best…

The Warehouse Project’s Facebook page has just announced the news that Franz Ferdinand will be playing at the Erol Alkan & Friends event this Saturday. Apparently "Franz will be taking to the stage at around 9pm, doors open at 8pm, so please arrive early!!!"
